Legal Aspect of Marketing

I did an independent assignment for my professor/adviser Donna Wertalik researching the important legal aspects of marketing. This presentation was created in response to a project I previously did in her class, Marketing Communications, where we had to create an integrated marketing communications plan for a real world client. The project called for us to concentrate on the consumer, distribution, and business to business aspect of the local companies.

I enjoyed doing the research because I learned about things I was not fully informed of, such as, the various monitoring agencies involved in marketing.


Blog's Intentions

The mission I have as I begin my Senior year is to gain a more in depth look at different aspects of law. I spent an entire summer immersed in a business atomosphere working for an in house legal counsel for a large company. I learned so much in such a small amount of time, I'm determined to learn more. I want to expand my knowledge to areas that I wouldn't normally have access to. Whether it's research, interviews, or anything else for that matter, I plan to expand my educational boundaries beyond what I already have.

Blogs give people the unique chance to record specific moments in time when something important comes to the forefront. I plan to find things that I want to learn more about, and write about it so that I can always refer to it. This blog initiative is going to require me to step outside my comfort zone at times, but that is at the root of learning.
